Our museum just recently had a MM UTS given to us. It came in all taken apart so I set to the task of putting it back together. Got it started a couple days ago and it purrs real nice. This is the first Minnie I have ever had anything to do with and it sure is an easy tractor to work on. I really like it. I a couple days I will put the belts on the big 36 inch case threshing machine and belt her up and let it run for a couple hrs. That machine puts a nice steady load on the engine and gets them right up to temp, cleans the carbon out in no time. I will get some photos when I get my camera back. _________________ 1920-G- Oillpull. 27- 15-30 McDeering. 45-D JD. 46-AR JD. 41 Ford 9N. 44 sp massey. 62 M500 Mercury truck. And lots of other rusty iron. |

MM UTS was very common tractor in Western Canada. In my area in post war era the U was seen on every second farm. They were made from 1938-1958. They are one tough tractor and easy to work on. _________________ 3-RTS,RTU,RTN,,Rcab,UTC,UTE,ZTE,ZAE,RTE,GTA,GTS,UTSD-M, 2-39,2-40,41,2-47,48,49,51,52,UTS,3-ZAS,KT,4-KTA,2-UTSD Specials,3-five stars,1350 Cockshutt,and2270 White |

I see on your profile that you have quite a herd of Minnies. I did a little disking with the model U and it is a real nice handling tractor. One of our members drove it and likes it, ( he and his 2 brothers are I-H to the bone) I told his one brother that he said he wishes his Dad would have had M-M all the those years they were farming instead of the W6. All I got was mean look. _________________ 1920-G- Oillpull. 27- 15-30 McDeering. 45-D JD. 46-AR JD. 41 Ford 9N. 44 sp massey. 62 M500 Mercury truck. And lots of other rusty iron. |

Wayne; might want to be careful when messing with Minnies; they can become very habit forming _________________ Come on in, sit right down, pull off Your boots, grab a cup of coffee; and join in the fun.
