My father getting into his new seceond hand car 1943 cars were like hens teeth to get,he got that one from our stock agent
having owned a 1929 Buick tourer it was a big step up,he owned it till 1955 the car brand sellars would only sell you a car if
you paid them half the value of the car into their banck account.
Dad would not have anything to do with them,by 1955 things had returned to normal and they were trying to sell cars at the
the Ford had 300,000 miles when he bought it,when he sold it in 55 it had done close to 500,000 miles they were well built
the only thing they lacked were good brakes.
