I got my M about a year and a half ago for 850 dollars. Overall there is nothing really special about it from any other Mbut I still love to use it for work and play lol. As long as there is gas in the tank and the battery is charged it will start no matter how cold it is outside. One interesting fact about it is since it was a WW2 era tractor it has the cast iron shift knob.

Just some random pics of it.

Nice line up there. I think I remember seeing these pics before. Thanks for reposting.
Do you have your garden turned over yet??
Very nice M and Cubs. :D Thanks for the pic.
Love that white nose Cub! I think about the time those came out IH was starting to show a little more classier tractors.
Thanks for the pic's :)
Nice Red Power!! I agree with John M those cubs with the white grills got some class!!
Good looking bunch of tractors. I hope to get a M someday.
nice little workforce
Mine has the cast shiftknob too! i was wondering about that :)

Good looking tractor. I love my M. It acts the same with the starting..most of the time
Nice ol' M. The M is a great work horse,I've never known an M get stuck for power, but a real gas guzzler, but that doesn't stop me from 'loving' mine,( it's a toss up between my M or W6).

I think the M pretty much is the mate to the Massey Harris 44 for power and gas consumption. At current prices, it is quite painful to run all day. I now delegate small chores to much smaller tractors... I used to run 44's continually. I just wish MY M would run, currently it's locked up, which is the why I bought it for $200.00.

I did use kerosene for a few months, but had to go down a gear on every job, it just didn't have the power of petrol.
Thanks for all the compliments.

I will have to get a picture of the M next to the 504 utility next time I borrow.
Thats a sweet M for $850 I had two and got rid of them now I wish I had them back I had a 43 and a 44
