A 1948 Model B came with some property we recently purchased. It was out in the weather for a number of years and ran about 5 years ago...so the owner said. The brakes were solid...could not move them. After spraying rust braker stuff and putting some oil down the capped tube to the brake shaft they can be moved with great force back and forth. So, my question is.....is there something I can other than remove the entire assembly? My B does not have a nut on the outside of the cover as some may have. I have watched on YouTube the rebuilding of the brakes, but they had the nut on the end of the cover. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
