That is a beautiful job. My 49 looks more like the before pic. Also on mine I have only one taillight. The first thing I would do with it is park it in the front yard and park the grandson on it for a few pics. ;)

Thank you everyone. It was a lot of fun doing this one. I had it for sale in the front yard for a long time, and it never sold, but I landed 5 jobs doing other peoples from it. I still have it, but my wife is saying it needs to go... I think not.

Great looking tractor! Your work is very detailed. That takes a lot of effort to bring one back like that.
Thanks for posting the before and after shots love to see those!

Chris

Thanks everyone for the kind words! Tractor still looks fantastic.. My wife wants it sold... but i'm afraid to tell her that...um... that aint gonna happen! So I get out on it, and drive it around time to time. I've worked on quite a few since, and really enjoy working on the old fords. One I did a while back came back last month after a horse kicked in the front and knocked the headlight cattywampus and dented the dog leg.. (thats the story.. but it looks more like the driver decided to run into the fence!  )Fixed it up and sent back home looking good! I really want a Jubilee, but I dont know if that's gonna happen with this 8N out in the shop.... Every guy should have two at a minimum... They are like chips... you cant just have one right????

urban farmer,
I also would like to see pics of the other tractors you have worked on. This Jubilee that I have seems to be a real nice unit. I had never owned or drove one and it has not been disappointing at all having this tractor around. Hope you find on someday too. The neighbor has that other Jub' that needs some work! Thinking about the chip thing:) I may need help resisting that one also.
Regards,
Chris
