I am making progress on the Super A,but I have run into a problem. The oil pan had a large amount of water in it. I removed the two bolts on the outside of the block,but it still will not come off.Could someone give me a idea what I need to do next. I have a manual, but it does not help with my problem.
thanks in advance;
robert

It's obviously stuck, there's only the 2 bolts. Is the screen floating, as it's meant to be, or not? If it's stuck the whole pump is stuck, and you'll have to be a bit brutal by forcing it down & out. There's only a bevel gear on the top,that drives off your cam shaft.
While your in there check the camshaft bearings as well.

I might not have given all the information needed for you to solve the problem with my oil pump. The motor is still in the tractor.

thanks robert

It doesn't matter about the motor still being in the tractor.
Have you got the head & sump off? if so you'll be able to look up & see where the pump is pushed into the block. There's no way you can drive it out from the top, you have to work it out from the bottom.
