This is not a Demo, and certainly not white. It's not even a production Cub.
i threw that one in fer the heck of it i know that ones the 1946 prototype Cub but it just looked right with all the equipment around it :lol:

Thanks for posting Brendan. I like seeing original pics of tractors and equipment. I was noticing how some had white lights some red same way with the lift rods and rear weights I wonder if they changed the scheme a little as the year went along on the demos. I like the pic with your signature also, I got a set of hares like that and would give my eye teeth for one of those little stack mufflers like the one on that 140 and the rain cap to go with it. Really enjoyed the pictures.

Good old pictures. A white demonstrator Cub was recently traded in at my buddy's lawnmower shop. (CubCadet dealer). It sat there for two weeks taunting me and just as I was going to stop and look it was gone. I figured somebody just painted one white for the heck of it and wasn't anything special. My brother called and said a friend of ours and fellow collector ran the numbers and it was a bone fide demonstrator and he bought it for a song. Thanks for the cool old pictures.
