Well summer is back north of the border.Time to get back into tractor fixin. Did a bunch of work to just get this one running last summer. Yes this is the one I am working on for Ray (jd2840).Starting with the steering axle.Had one put together but I didn't like the way it was working so I started over. Finally got one spindle on the axle and it is working the way I want it to.All the parts are sandblasted and primed. Went and misplaced my patch cord for uploading pictures.

Just a couple of pictures I had from last summer. Want to get it completely together and run it in the tractor show in the first part of June. Then it heads for the overhaul shop.

It's nice to have a good parts supply. This one is going to be a big project. There is a lot of work to do on the fenders. Nothing else gets worked on until this one is complete.

Got it mobile this weekend. 1st and reverse work good.Just have to put back tires on it that hold air and install brakes. I am pretty sure it will make it to the local tractor show here this year.

Got it on four good tires, loaded up and off to the show. Had a bit of fuel trouble with it so it's visit was cut short, therefore I didn't get all the videos I wanted. This computer I have been using is giving me stress uploading pictures and videos. Will get them posted just as soon as I can.

Sorry folks, still no luck uploading pictures and videos. On a positive note though, I was able to get the steering axle completely finished and ready to be put in.

Just a little shaky with the camera but pictures just the same. After what I went through to get them uploaded I will take what I can get. This is the rebuilt axle that is going into the tractor. The steering box is next on the list and then the fuel tank.

Finally got the steering box apart. Somewhere along the line the woodruff key was broken in the sector shaft.Someones wisdom for repair was to weld the everything together. In the process of tracking down a new seal for the sector shaft and getting shim stock so I can put everything back together.
