1955 Oliver Super 55

Just acquired a 1955 Oliver Super 55 and I have to use starting fluid on cold starts. After I run it for awhile it starts good when warm. Are there glow plugs on this engine? Is there a system that is supposed to be attached to the intake tube to help? If anybody has pictures of the intake side, please send them so I will know what to look for.

if the air cleaner is clean ,try a valve set .
how long since an oil change ?
she might be worn to .
