Hydraulic fluid is disappearing and its not on the cement, under engine between belly pan and bottom of engine. Leaks very little out cylinders for what I'm putting in it. ANYONE HAVE AN ANSWER. Thank you Don
Also check your transmission. Not sure if the D4D has hyd assist steering but if so, could be leaking internally past a seal. If you have the service and parts books, check all points where hyd oil is on one side of a seal and an enclosed area on the other side. Would be worth while getting 3 SOS sample kits from your Cat dealer and take an engine, transmission and hydraulic oil sample and have analysed by your Cat dealer. I have frequently used these results to fix transfer problems. Kits are not expensive.
