I'm relatively new to tractors and need some guidance. I have a 1970 ish MF 135. I've been doing a lot of mowing with it this summer and the hydraulic lift has worked fine. A few days ago, I started the tractor and when I let off the clutch enough for the hydraulic pump to engage, the arms began to lift with the control lever in the down position. The arms continued to lift until the deck of the mower bound up against the PTO shaft. No movement of the control lever had any effect on the arms. When I shut off the tractor, the arms breakfast lowered as the pressure went down.

The gear and hydraulic oil was on the low end of the operable range, so I added more to bring it to full. Started the tractor and had the same conditions. Any ideas or suggestions?
