For a number of years now my oldest brother and I have pulled old loader tires into the infield for the boys who like their demolition derbys. They tried to do it with modern equipment one year and gave up and came and ask us to do it again. Seems their modern equipment (skid steer and brand new loader tractor) couldn't do the job as fast and efficient as two old JD tractors.

Mission accomplished in just under half an hour. Final fine tuning with the skidsteer is all they do now.We do the rest.

Way Cool!!!!!!!!!!as the kids might say. New ain't always better!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is that the D you dug up and rebuilt?
I bet it is fun as heck using those old D's to drag them big old tires around!
Yeah, I tried to smooth my driveway with my 23 horse zero turn mower. What a waste of time! Put the JD on the same task and it purred all day long.
That would be a lot more entertaining to watch then a skid steer. A lot better sounding too!! hays!!
Nice pictures love them old ones for sure ;)
Nice seeing the old rigs doin' work while the new ones see how its done. :D
I bet that sounded good! Those two D's barking in unison, that's what I'm talking about

The one I dug up and built up is waiting for new back tires. These are the two we farmed with for as long as I can remember.
