has anyone changed filter without taking top off transmision

I have never worked on a 265 but i think they have the aux hyd pump which requires the removal of the cover to get at the filter, hopefully someone will know for sure ;)

thanks i got a book and found it just a cover on bottom of trans a lot easer than going in through side like on a 165 or 135 or to 35 they also they have a external filter in a canester out side in high pressure line i have the factory service manuals now for each tractor i have well worth the money thanks again for the help

Thanks for the update, sure can't beat having the manuals. That sounds like a vast improvment on
the 265's for filter changes over the 100 series
