Got the M out for some exercise this afternoon. Getting ready to move the horses into the east pasture at the ranch, so figured I'd mow down some of the overgrown brush before we did. Got to thinking while I was mowing about how unlikely it will be that any of the new tractors will still be earning their keep when they're 72 years old

The mower looks to fit your old M pretty well.
Tractors were once made to last a farmer's lifetime and be fairly easily repaired when needed.
I don't think anyone building them back when thought they would last as long as they have.

I absolutely love the old M. She may not look like much, but she always starts right up, and is just an enjoyable tractor to run. Gave a friend of mine $600 for the tractor and $150 for the mower, best money I've spent in a long time
