Looking for an overhaul kit for my 641 diesel. Also need air cleaner parts, injectors, and injection pump. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Have you tried Steiners yet? If I remember correctly. The 600 series is gas. Diesel is a 800 series. Or at least that is what it says in my Ford Service Manual.

Another area broke down the rest of the info as
600 - Gas
800 - Diesel
x3x - three speed transmission
x4x (number listed was speed of transmission could go as high as x6x ie 6 speed tranny)
xx0 - Just tractor
xx1 - Has 3 point and pto on back.

I think some manual writers needed to do better research, the 6x1, 7x1,8x1 & 9X1 tractors could be had with gas, diesel or LPG engines, we had an 871 gas, SOS tractor.

My grandfather bought in new in 1958. My dad and his 3 brothers took turns diving it home. It is a 641 and also a diesel. I believe it is a 144 ci motor. Thanks

The 601 (144) diesels were not very popular. That's why you don't see many parts available for the 144 any more. You might find them at an old ford tractor dealership. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Ford 800 SERIES

No the 600 series at least the 641 came in gas or diesel. mine is a 1961 641 D-10 it is diesel. one thing I am wondering though is it came with a backhoe on it and does not seem to have the connection to connect a 3 point hitch, does anyone know about that? was it an option or something? how can I add that functionality?
