Its very cold out and my 9n has no spark. The points tested ok and the coil did as well so I opted to take the works out and bench test it. Has anyone spun up their distributor on a bench to test the whole works at one time?
Haven't done that but the 9N I had had simular trouble. The copper strap inside that fed the points had a tear in it. Sometimes I had got spark, sometimes not. Might look at that.
Thanks, I will have a good look at that and everything else. I am thinking that I can power it up with my spare 6 volt and spin it with a rechargeable drill.
