Well I got this tractor running.
Repairing the manifold was a challange. I kept chasing cracks. Its hard to keep heat even. This is that white cast iron. Its brittle.
I think it will hold unless a low flying tree limb attacks me.
Im trying to upload a short
Video of it running. No smoke and it runs good. I Think i got lucky.
You never know what your getting when you buy a dead tractor out of a field.
Two front tires and fix the left brake an its usable. Still need to buy a new cutting edge for the blade.

Short video

I also either need to repair the cup on the aircleaner or find a good one. The bottom is rusted out. Beadblast it and use fiberglass it. I hate fiberglass.
Its the one tha t has the inlet at the top on the side. Its good accept the cup.

The old Allis does have a nice purr to it. ;)
Unfortunately I've seen a lot of breather cups rusted out.
Folks don't maintain them properly and/ or they get sat out and water floats the oil out.
Hopefully you can find just the cup to fit it.
