Hi I wonder if any member could identify a mystery amal carburettor which probably came from a tractor or an industrial engine.

The carb is a brass 206/120r which is identical to the alloy 276 type which dates it to the 1940's or early 1950's. The bore is 15/16 inch but the mystery is the flange fitting which has hole centres at 55mm rather than the usual 50mm. Amal have been unable to help. Does any forum member know of an engine with 55mm carb flange fixing??? Any wisdom on this subject much appreciated Bob

A search of Anal carburetor reveals their primary product was for motorcycle carbs. That is all I could find.
