2 pounds ground beef
2 cans (28 ounce each) baked beans
1 can (46 ounces ) Tomato juice
1 can(11 1/2 ounce) V8 juice
1 envelop chili seasoning

In Dutch oven, cook the beef over medium heat until not pink; stir in the remaining ingredients. bring to boil. reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Yeilds 24 servings.

I make some good chile but going try this ..

I make what I'd call a chili bean soup. I'll use leftover ground beef made for tacos, or one could use a whole batch. I'll add one or two quarts of canned maters, 1 to 2 cans of kidney beans, 1 to 2 cans of pork and beans, and some onion and that's it. The amount of beans and maters I add depends upon ifn it is for Mrs. Jim and I or if the daughter's family shows up. Season to taste. I don't care for real spicey stuff, so the taco seasoning is about enuff for me. If you really want to bring out the tomato taste, add some sugar to taste. It's real good just to cook slow to allow the flavors to mix well.

Sound like a winner Jim . You mke it what you have .
I use that pinch of sugar also it flavors the tomatoes.
