I haven't been around here much the last couple of weeks. I took my restored Gravely L8 to the CT Antique Machinery Assn's Fall Festival at the end of September and have been in big trouble ever since. My Gravely libido has been in overdrive. It started when one of my fellow exhibitors emailed the day after the show that there was a 1954 L model that I really needed to buy in NY. Long story short, here it is:

But that wasn't enough, stuff started popping up on Craigslist and eBay, what was I supposed to do? Another road trip to upstate NY and now there's a 1951 and 1952 L in the back of my truck! Oh, and a Wheel Horse raider 12 thrown in.

Then, the day after, some guy shows up with a 1962 L model and snowblower on his truck claiming I bought it on eBay! I had him offload it since he was already here.

I'm still married, but just barely. At least now I have something to work on in my spare time when I;m not restoring my Case VAC's. :shock:
