My mother had a minor stroke and I had to go down to take care of her for a few days. She suffered no lasting effect of the episode, so all's well. Other than Momma, I'm the only one without a job, so I was elected. Of course I didn't object, after all she took care of me for several years!
They called me at ten in the morning and I was at the hospital in Pinehurst, N.C. at four that afternoon.
She is fine now and her grand-daughter is checking on her after work and doing chores like taking out the trash.

Wondered where you were. A stroke is nothing to sneeze at, but glad she's doing well.
Hope the doctors can help her keep going for some time to come.
I kinda worry about the everyday folks when they don't post for a few days. ;)

Glad she's ok Dave and glad you were able to be there for her. I'm sure that meant more than anything to her.

Momma will be ninety on the twelveth of May, but say she has to live twentyfour more years. That's when her mortage is paid off. The way it looks she'll make it!

I'm glad to hear it turned out OK. My mother had a similar experience.

Been missin' ya Dave, but mommas are special and we gotta look after them. Glad and thankful she is improving.
