Here is a Kenworth Road Train used to transport dump truck tyres to our remote minesites here in Australia. Loaded with 14 tyres, probably all 40.00R x 57 size and each weighing about 3½ tons.

This photo shows a Cat 793D truck (240 ton capacity) and Liebherr T282 truck (400 ton capacity) and at my work place, I am a part of a small group involved planning the maintenance on 24 of these Cat trucks and 44 of the Liebherr trucks. Fortunately, tyre maintenance is maintained by a different section here at work.

Glad I don't have to pay the price for those tires, or mount them on the trucks.

Worked with a mechanic that had come from the mines in Montana. He had a picture of himself standing on the nose of a big Cat mine truck. He looked like the hood ornament.
