This makes a sweet creamy slaw similar to what Claudia Sanders made,
that became the side dish at Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Add together In an appropriate sized mixing bowl:

4 teaspoons Tarragon Vinegar (one main key to the taste)
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup Miracle Whip salad dressing
Blend until the sugar dissolves.

In a large mixing bowl, add:

One pound bag Cole Slaw Mix , and /maybe one grated carrot ( I cheat ;) , and like carrots :D ) or,
About 3/4 to one chopped head of cabbage, and three or four grated carrots. (if you prefer chopping your own)
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper

Add wet ingredients from other bowl and stir until everything is well mixed and coated.

Cover and let sit in refrigerator for several hours, preferably overnight.
I prefer to stir it every now and then when I'm "getting into the 'fridge anyway".
Makes enough for a good sized pot luck get together. ;)

That's the best way I know to describe what type of slaw it tastes like.
I guess they sell the same slaw and chicken everywhere. :?
If I can Find my old recipes I made up While I was in school at WKU,
when I helped start up a still successful today regional restaurant menu.
I'll post some that I made to go with this, but right now the others are misplaced.
This one they rejected, They said it tasted great, just too much like KFC. ;)
