went out to use the 850 and it had a spectacularly blown out side wall.

tire was an old michelin 7.5r16 .. I found a 23585r16 at a junkyard on the way to work for 10$

will cut the old tire off this weekend and then mount up. tractors on jack stands now.. :(

:? At least it was one of them smaller ones  Junk yard tires are great. Town garage where I used to live has a big dumpster for people to throw out their old tires. I get to shop in it for free   Thats where I got a set of four for my wagon.
yep.. I pulled it off last night and was telling the wife this am that I needed to find a used tire for it.. I had already called the local ag tire shop and asked if they had anything used. it was an old michelin 7.5r16.. back befor ethey went to metric designations for truck tires.. etc. guy told me to look for a used 235 85r16 or something real close.

on the way to work i hit a salvage yard that had tires out front. they hostly had 205-215 60 r16 stuff... guy told me to go on down the road past the light a mile ( still on my way to work ).. and there was another salvage yard back in the stix might have something.

pulled in.. big ol pit bull ran up to smell me :) big ole guy lumbered over.. told him what I needed. we walked out to his shed.. he had tires laying everywhere.. he started digging in his shead.. roleld a coupe out.. while he was doing that I kicked a few around ont he ground and found 2 and he cound a couple.. he told me to pick which I wanted.. they were 10$.. i grabbed one that looked ok, pad the man and rolled it over to the truck :)

old tire was so rotted it came off in pieces... new tire had to be washed out.. had old water and sand in it from esetting outside. bead area was a lil dry, but a bunch of bead soap made it mount up nice.

I got it on the tractor now.. buzzed it on right before I hit a shower to come to work.. as a matter of fact.. just after I put it on, I calld ya , then went for my walk.. you called me back on my walk.... then I got called by work, hit the shower.. and here I am.. :)

pop band tonight.. yawn...
