We are doing some work on a 2090 Case and neeed to lift the hood. there is 2 latches to the back of the hood but it won't go up. I don't seem to see any other locks. I hope I have missed something and the slides aren't frozen. Thanks for any help.....mike

I oiled what I thought was the pivot points and found that the front lifted up but was very heavy. Then the whole top pulls forward only about 2 feet. That barely lets you get to the air filter. The front side panels pull up and out of the way. The tractor has some wiring problems.....mike

Yes, those hood catches can be a little stubborn sometimes, especially when the engine is hot. I sometimes have to stick a screw driver up into the catch release while pulling the release lever. Both sides. Once that is done it is no problem to lift the hood up (from the back) for full access to the air filter and radiator .
