The Cat. D9 at the Vintage Machinery Expo in Takapau, central Hawke's Bay. There were about 30 Cats on show, plus heaps of other crawlers, some very nice I.H. & Allis Chalmers.

I love all kinds of dozers and crawlers old and new. The new d10 and 11's are some awsume machines but the old D9's with the mile long hood are still my all time favorite big dozer.

I'm not sure which series of 9 this is; i sure do like the early serieses as they have a distince grumle or growl when You sock a load to it. Thank You Red Kiwi.
