Cocktail Meatballs
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. milk
1 egg
1tsp,salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 bottle Heinz chili sauce
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 (10 oz) jar grape jelly
Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, eggs. salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
Shape into 1 inch balls. Melt shortening in large skillet and brown meatballs . remove and pour off excess fat.
Heat chili sauce and jellyin skillet. Add meatballs and simmer 30 minutes.
This is a favorite at the Christmas Dinner
