If I can find something inexpensive and somewhat local, I might pick them up and keep the C I have for garden work. If not, I'll sell it and find something else. Just pretty much in thought process right now.

If you have the UMF setup for your C, the only parts that will interchange from a Cub are the front toolbars (for the outsides), clamps, and standards. Nothing else will work. You'll be missing the middle toolbars and pretty much everything for the rear.
Thanks for the info. Was asking because I found a set cheap and nearby.
Will keep my eyes open for the correct ones.

A complete set of Cub cultivators (toolbars, clamps and standards front and rear) with the UMF typically go for $300-$400 on the Cub site if they are in good shape. If you can get them cheap enough, might be worth the effort to pick them up and offload for a profit that can be used for the C setup. Just a thought...

Money's tight. Just bought a house so thats why its still just in thought process. Once we move and sell the old place then I'll have play money again to do deals like that. Can't risk tying any up on a "hope to sell" term. Good idea though. Thanks for the input.

You can probably sell the C and buy a cub with cultivator and a other attachments. They made every possible impelment for the cub and used equipment is readily available at a resonable price. There's still plenty around. The only thing they didn't make for the cub was HP.

Hey Ron, if you are thinking of selling your C and getting an offset Farmall, you would be wise to at least go to a Super A. It has more than twice the horsepower, can do much more work in a shorter time, and will not cost much more than a Cub. I have both and if I have to spends hours at a time on only one of them, it would be a SA hands down. Those Cub engines are very expensive to rebuild too, only to produce 9 hp, unless you get one from the last generation produced.

That I thought about. Been a cub for sale here for awhile now with some implements. HP wouldn't really be an issue. Sandy type soil and garden shouldn't get more than 100' x 100'. Just have to finish the C first once we get settled in and hope that cub is still avail. He's only wanting 1k.

Here that would be a total steal. You can't touch one for under 2500 and thats if it needs work little alone with imps.

I picked up this '52 Fcub a couple of months ago at an estate sale. It was a "ran when parked" that came with full set of wheel weights, full set of cultivator, rear rockshaft and drawbar. I had it running the next day. All this for whopping $325. The deals are out there if you look hard enought.
