Got home from work today and peach tree was missing about 1/2 bushel of peaches. Walked around the tree and found a lot of pits laying on the ground completely cleaned off, so I picked all the peaches off the tree. Too bad I can't get them to come around during deer season

Bait your favorite deer-huntin' spot with peaches this season and open fire :!: ;)

X2 on Jim's suggestion, we usually park the tahoe in the sweetcorn come deer season... and hunt the ridge over from it. I've been more tempted than ever to utilize the nuisance tags that are at our disposal. I realize that the deer are just trying to survive and do what's natural... but I do wish they would do it on the other 66 acres that we don't put our garden in. I guess when it comes down to it, I'd rather have sweet corn or peaches than grass and nuts as well... sorry to hear about your loss. Maybe they filled up, but I doubt it...
