3/4 cp Bourbon
6 Lg egg yolks
3/4 cps sugar
2 1/2 cps milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Beat egg yolks and sugar in medium saucepan. Slowly beat in 2 cups of the milk, cook over medium heat until approx 150 degrees or mixture coats a metal spoon. Remove from heat, strain into container, stir in remaining milk, bourbon, vanilla and nutmeg. Cover and chill over night.
Mike, I appreciate the recipe. Will try it with out the bourbon first time. Want to make it for the kids in Sunday religion classes at church. Don't think the parents would appreciate it with the bourbon
Thanks for the recipe
