I went on a road trip over the weekend to pick up a set of flywheels for one of my bigger engines, the man I bought them from has a small museum of oilfield engines and other "things of the past" He is a great person to talk with, and is very knowledgable.

Really neat photos Jim :D
thanks for sharing :D
Glad he let you yake some photos. He's got a lot of neet old stuff packed away in his shop. ;)
Nice old engine collections are usually owned by nice old guys that like to share time and information with others that show interest. Those are some good photos and I'm glad you got to see them in person. Thanks for remembering us and posting for us to drool over.
Mr.Anderson who owns all these engines is a great person to talk with, I have nothing but great respect for him. He has been most helpful to me with trying to find parts for these "BIG" rusty relics, I will try and keep progress reports going on my engines.

Please do. I have just a few little ones and know very little at all about any of them but want to learn all I can. 3 hp Fairbanks Z, several IH 2 and 3 hp, and Galloway 5 hp. One of these days I hope to get all them up and running.
Looks a great collection. I've just run some of my Briggs & Strattons, did the spark, carbies, cleaned them down and repainted them. I was running the Model 23 (10hp) and there was an almighty explosion and the champion J8 disappeared, never more to be seen, so now there is a repair to be done to the head.
