Every year when wheat harvest gets into full swing, I get a phone call from a local farmer to driver his big truck. 1976 Ford Louisville tandem, 460 V-8 ,4 barrel, 20 foot grain bed. Problem is it has a 4 X 5 transmission. None of his people want to drive it. I love driving it. Have tried to show them how to shift it, but it doesn't do any good, gear crashing all day. When I'm driving it, I get load first and it runs all day. I'm in heaven :D :D Drove yesterday and will get to do it again Thursday & Friday. My biggest problem is keeping my foot out of the 4 barrel.
