The summer before last my youngest son Michael decided he wanted to paint Old Blue my father in laws 2000 ford for a show at the county fair. He made this decision eight days before the show and a very busy week followed.
Here he is when we started.

The tear down and clean up begins.

The one thing pictures can't show is heat. The heat index that week was 95 to 105 all week. I mean HOT.

Starting to come together.

Ready to unload at the show.

Bringing blue back after a show.

My mother in law on blue. She still says this one is her favorite.

looking good i have never seen one with that style rear adjustable wheels
Ford used on there older modles and to this day I don't know why they changed it was the best design I have ever used. The center hub has a lip angled like a thread and know matter where you put them they are 100% straight no wobble when you go down the road.

Thanks for all the kind comments. One more thing to add to the story when his grandpa came to see it at the show he was tickled to death. He said "Michael you done good. Its yours." Its still on the farm in his barn and every time someone gets on it to rake mow or what ever he looks at Michael and grins and says "Is that ok with you Michael."
