This is a copy of a photo that my aunt sent me. It's my great great grandfather, grandmother and uncle about 1905.

The log house at the time of the photo was somewhere around 100 years old, and had been covered by lap board.
It was built by Archibald Felts in the early 1800's who was one of the first commercial carpenters, building houses in the western part of the state.
The inside is identical to the house that my father grew up in, which was also build by Archibald. Unfortunately it no longer exists.
You can see a copy of the photo, and the house itself, standing on the campus of Western Kentucky University at the Kentucky Museum.
Yes, I'm very proud of my heritage. :D
