I use Napa brand 30wt(which is basically ashland valvoline) in all my tractors, although i wouldn't be afraid to use 10w40 or 10w30

Either 10w-40 or 30wt in the gassers and 15w-40 for diesels.

I use 10W30 in my Super C but only because I occasionally ask it to start in the winter (I live in Northern Maine) to plow my driveway. It sleeps in an unheated garage and sometimes my 1963 GMC plow truck wont start but I can always depend on the Farmall. It's still 6 volt, but I have two batteries on it. If it wasn't for the cold starts, I would use either straight 30 weight or 10W40.
