I cannot say about your transmission as I have no experience inside one of those except to realign shifting forks in a 140. If the final drive leak is high up under the transmission most likely it a bad seal where the final drive shift slides into the transmission. There is one on both the right and left side. I change them if I have to replace the brakes. Also on the left side there is a seal behind the fertilizer distributor or side.dresser drive gearl. A service manual might be your friend as well as a good parts person.
