I wouldn,t mind one of those rakes, but there were only horse drawn models in this neck of the woods. I see they are still using the same idea with some of the V rakes being sold today. They leave a nice row for the baler. What sort of money do those make with you ?
My grandpa had one of these when I was growing up and my uncle still uses it today. They did a good job and were easier to get around than the pull rakes where we used them in the mountains. You could raise them up when crossing a branch or rocks and ruts in the road the only thing you had to watch was your speed when carring them on rough ground the weight could bend the arms but really good rakes if you got the five bar.
