hello fellow members:
just wondering if anyone of you out there have experienced this: I have a rather large pin that holds the rod assembly to the front axle and cannot get it to release and come out. I have tried a five ton jack with large socket but so far no movement. I am told that heating it with a torch- might help to release it. I have not used any solvent as of yet, any ideas as how to go about this???
any input appreciated!
thanks, smitty-in arizona

I've always soaked them with Kroil (or PB blaster), use a box wrench to loosen it, then us a large drift pin to knock them out.
Good luck and keep us posted.
