The plow looks similar to a plow we had years ago. There was an arm with teeth on it to raise the plow. This was done by pulling a rope hooked to a lever on the plow. The lever would drop down into a gear inside the wheel. To drop the plow you pulled the rope again and the plow would drop to start plowing. If the plow gathered up debris or vines it was a real pain in the butt to clean.
