Nice photos ianoz,are they from the same maker of the Feild Marshall,they look similar.

Yes ,Sort of . The last photo ,Closest to the camera is a Fowler leeds 3.30,which is about 1935 model . Next is the Fowler VF , which is a 1948 model . The yellow one is aTrackmarshall 55, which is a 1950s something model .Fowler was bought out by Marshall. The 55 is a VF basicly with a perkins motor .

I know someone has asked before, but I missed it. What is the reason for the odd exhaust pipe? Looks like a giant version of an expansion chamber we had on two stroke dirt bikes in the seventies.

Truthfully Dave , I have no idea why the exhaust is shaped that way. I have a book about Marshall tractors ,will see if i can find out a bit of imfomaton .
