Surprising results today
Installed a NOS coil and very weak spark after setting points
Frustrated I started opening the points wider and wider all of a sudden I got a healthy enough jolt to make me drop my screwdriver
I dunno what they are at now
But it’s way farther than spec!

Next the carb
I made a gasket for the sediment bowl today

I’m keeping the old coil
We can modify them by shaving the center post enough to accept a modern cheap replacement
I don’t need another one of these coils right now but it’s a darn good thing to keep ahold of

I like it. That's about the "newest" walk behind tractor that I've seen. My guess would be built around late 60s early 70s.
Good luck getting it back in running condition.
