My neighbor at another place had an older one. I borrowed it. He borrowed my tractor.
Would be handy to have one with a rotary mower on the front and a sulky in back.
I can't follow one on foot anymore. ;)
Those who know me, get the bad pun.

Yes I am. My sister's friend has one that doesn't run that she wants to give away. My dad had one years ago. It had the round mower deck, plow and cultivator. I loved it. Pull start though. seemed very rugged to go through 4 boys and still run well.

It's nearly done. I'll post pics when all of the last details are attended to. :)

I used Rust Oleum Chevy Engine Orange, it's a near perfect match and easily available for a reasonable cost. I'm just going straight white on the white parts, I know it's supposed to be a slightly off white, but I like how the orange and pure white go together.

I'm trying to get it ready to take to the opening event of the CT Antique Machinery Assn. in Kent, CT on May 5.

Yes, I nave quite a few attachments. I'm repainting a 40 inch 2 blade mower and a sulky to go with the repainted L8. I finished the mower today, all I really have left is the hood, then touch ups and final assembly. I've already had it running, I redid the top end.

What's your work situation? Why can't you do orange?

Yea, I know those folks. ;) I remember seeing a photo of that rig now.
That was two years ago just before my back surgery and I didn't get to come to the show.

Lookin' good Phil, That's a different deck than my friend has.
His is round, without wheels just slide bars on the sides.
Lookin' forward to seeing the finished product. ;)

Yeah, the mower deck is a newer attachment that post dates the L models, but it's what I use to mow, and I needed to put a belt on it anyways, so I'm cheating. :) The mower you're thinking of is a 30" rotary, more of a bush hog than a lawn mower, but all L models seemed to come with them.
