The tin fencing we use is not as attractive as Mike's netting, but it does work. Yes, they can dig underneath, but if the hogs don't know what is there, they are less inclined to do so. An adult hog that we discovered sampling our bounty did that very thing this year, but it has been eliminated along with 5 other young hogs. I have no sympathy for them if they enter our gardens.

I do whatever it takes too. Rabbits and my own dogs were my main problem. I have a fence around mine now. I let the dogs in when I'm working in the garden. They love being in there.
