A guy brought me a H that the cows had eaten all the wire off and the cap is missing to convert to 12 volt and I picked up the parts today mostly at TSC. The Delco dist. model is 7777411 and the cap does not fit at all. I had a few old caps around and they don't fit either. He said it run until the cows had their way with it. The cap was gone when he brought it. Could this tractor been refited with a newer tractor dist?????mike

Mike if the cap you got was from TSC it is assumed for IH dist .
You will have to go to NAPA or got auto parts to find the Delco dist listing .

Not only that but the Delco Dist has a plastic plate that the Cap sets on .
That dist is aftermarket for Many tractors that had flange mount magneto .
And also cause a BIGGGGGGG ruckus down at the Equipment super store other day

Mike double check your numbers . Just walk out here Ck My Super M with delco dist is 1111411

Got the parts for it at Huntley's NAPA

Yep!Delco distribtuo uses a completely different cap.

Old eyes and a dirty tag= wrong number . So I can get the right cap and rotor from NAPA and the dust cover?????mike

Should be able to . I got my stuff at NAPA not going to say for Auto zone nor Oreily's But they should be able depending on the parts guy .

those delco dizy's were easyer to change pionts in but they shure didnt like the rain runin of the hood rite into them! as others have said the delco takes a different cap and rotor.
