I have a 9N Ford Fergison and the valve seats are shot. The book said to weld on the seat and they would crack and they could be removed. Well that worked on the intake valve but the exhaust valves will not budge. I was using a wire feed welder. Help

First off are you sure they can't be ground/cut again? Normally if they aint cracked or anything they should have enough meat on them where you can do this. Unless its been done several times before. The book says to weld 3 small beads. Did you try going all the way around? Where are you going to get new ones? I never see them in any catolog.. Im going to pick my block up from the machine shop tomorrow. These new replacment parts are junk they got now a days. the guides were all too tight for the valve stem and needed worked to get right. Same with all the bearings.. If you measure the thickness they are a few thousands off from each other. I'll be posting some pictures maybe this weekend
