New here, and in a way new to antique tractors. I grew up spending summers on my Grandfather's farm, where I learned to operate tractors (JD 4020 (the newest tractor on the place to this day), a Farmall C, Farmall M, and Super M, along with a Farmall H. (see a pattern here?) We still use the old C, and H to cut and Rake Hay for the cattle, and the 4020 pulls the round baler and carries hay when we feed it out.
About a week ago I had a 1952 Farmall Super C offered to me for a price I could not refuse. It's mechanically sound and runs well. It is the first tractor I have ever owned. I am putting it to work on my 12 acre place to work the garden plots, and corn patch, and to help with spraying the orchard.
I look forward to learning about your tractors, and how to one day restore mine, but keep it working instead of it being for show only.
