1974 ford 3000
Rebuilt top lid. New o rings and seal on piston. Worked for awhile. Rebuilt pump and new pressure relief valve. Only lifts very slow with full throttle. Good pressure at pump and block off plate under seat. Where do I go from here ????????

Did you check the filter? If a metal mesh type it may be able to be cleaned.

Thanks, yes. Both metal mesh filters. Cleaned but
Weren't bad. Top lid back off. Unload and or check valve. Ordered new safety valve just because. Found 0 ring on check valve I missed. Book calls for one between ball and seat which seems odd to me. Will get back to it tomorrow. Thanks for reply.

Got good pressurd at pump and block off plate under seat. Took advice I got on here about cracking bleed ports and running it around the field. Took that to prime system. Keep it dry in the barn in off season. Come cutting time, we do around 70 acres with 5' bush hog. Poor man got poor ways. Learned to make do with what we got. Will keep turning wrenches till we get old blue ready to run the fields again. Been riding her since I was 17.
