The State Farmers Market at Sandy Ridge, NC held a tractor show yesterday. It was a small show with the tractors coming from a club in Mocksville, NC. Mrs. Jim and I went there yesterday afternoon after our trip to the market where we sell our wares. I just had to show yall this one. Note it is bolted to its trailer. It's always ready to go to showtime :!:

Is that chain drive on the back to operate the lift?
That’s a pretty tractor but it looks like no fun at all to play with since its bolted down!

Yessir! Thought it would show up better on the pic than it did :!:
Very nice Jim, thanks for the pics
It wouldn't do to get that one dirty, not to mention the trailer ;)
It's a beautiful show/museum piece in it's altogether, but must be a city dweller that owns it.
A farmer couldn't resist driving it around just a bit, even just loading and unloading it. ;)

Ifn I had it Dave, I'd haveta get the wheels dirty at least :!:
Beautiful! I'd have to get it a little bit dirty. Bust them bolts off that thing and have some fun!

But then again, this guy could be on to something. You could do all the cosmetic work and make it look pretty but never worry about the internal side. With it bolted down and a chain guarding it's perimeter, it could never even have a crankshaft in it and who would ever know?

Not saying that this one doesn't run, but just a thought...
back in the day when i used to do car shows alot of folks would make'm look good but they didnt run. heck some didnt even have pistons in them!!!! me personaly i couldnt do all that work to a peice and not drive it even just a lil. thats a awsome lookin johny but id put money on it that it dont run
Have to agree with some that is one beautiful piece of art but seems to have taken all the fun out of owning it. Guess it is what he wanted though and likes. He earned that right big time
Just curious was it wet there or is that trailer that glossey?
Trailer Queen, probably only started it once and felt it was too dirty to start again.

It looked like it had about an eight of an inch of clear coat on it.
What a waste! It's beautiful, but what good is it? Oh well, everyone to their own kick said the lady as she kissed the cow.
Beautiful!!! The way I look at it at least it isn't rotting in a field somewhere or getting hauled to the scrap yard.. It is difficult to move these steel wheeled tractors around at times. Maybe this was the owners answer for the problem. At least it is outside for people to see.
Yeah, some folks like to drive'em and some like to show'em!
