I have posted this before but lots of new members now and I'm giving the new site a test drive. This is me and the 93 two years ago.....mike click on picture for video

This one has a 10 ft. head, Does my combine make me look fat :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: mike

Does the 93 mean the year or something else. Neat looking machine, did you ever use a tow behind to compare with, I'm interested in opinions on the pros and cons of both.

93 is the model number, the year is 1960 or 61. I have had several combines over the years but never had a pull type. The big advantage I would think is that you would need to keep looking over your shoulder with a pull type and getting them thru gates. Thats a good question and hope we get some more feed back.....mike

I've only operated self propelled. Opening a field to me would be easier with a self propelled. (less crop damage)
However, pto powered pull type means one less engine to maintain since you already have the tractor.
(just my opinion) ;)
