What does a 52' IH Super M with factory power steering go for? Good shape straight metal older restoration. Ball park estimate of course. I just added one to my little collection...
What does a John Deere model 60 go for?? Very nice tractor and paint. I am thinking of adding this to the collection someday also. When were these things made? I know nothing of them, other than the fact that I do not have any green paint in the barn and maybe I should....
Just thought my friends could help me out on the answers...

I've seen them listed anywhere from $2500 to $5800. I would say $3200 to $3500 should catch it.
Don't know about a 60. Hope this helps. :D

I just looked up several on the internet and found prices just the way prwttsh quoted you. condition of tires is a big deal. I sold a reg M with a wide front end a few years ago for $2700. I didn't find any JD 60 yet.....mike

The John Deere 60 came out in the early 50's. Is was the next step up in size from the model A. It was a great tractor and one of the first to offer power steering and live PTO. A JD 60 will have a higher dollar value than a compareable IH tractor.

I thought the 50's were the next step to the A, and the 60 was next step to the B.

3200 - 3600 for a thoroughly done over 60. Yet if you wanted. We have a club member that is selling a fully restored styled B for 2800 with elec start.

I got mine for 2200 and needed some work.

Dont know nothing about JDs, so Ill help on the SM. There wasnt a factory PS then, so its add-on, If the tires are in great shpe, and as you say an older restoration, 1500 - 2500 is the most Id pay, since you say its an OLDER restoration.

I hate to say it but it seems to me that what part of the country you live in has an affect on tractor pricing, up here a decent regular M wide front will bring 2000-2500 and Supers depending on shape another 1000 or so. You got me on the 60 I just bought my first JD last year and it was an A.

Thanks for all the input!!I picked the SuperM up for 3000. The ole farmer is wanting quite alot for the 60; however it is like brand new tires and all. I am hoping to get a little more feedback on the JD 60. I will keep checking back. Until then Merry Christmas Ya'll !!!

Thanks, Sid
